Cancellation policy
How to cancel, how much notice we need, and what happens to the class you'd booked.

Draft wording. This policy describes how the site actually behaves and follows normal Australian small-business practice, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not rely on it as legal advice.
Things come up. Cancelling is fine — we’d just rather know, so the place can go to someone on the waitlist.
How to cancel
Whichever is easiest: call 0423 410 696, message us on @urfitnessdj, or email hello@urfitnessdj.com.au.
Quote your booking reference if you have it — it’s the code on your confirmation, in the format UFD-XXXXXX. Without it we’ll just need your name and the class.
Notice period
- More than 12 hours before the class: cancel with no penalty. If the class came off a pass, it goes straight back on.
- Less than 12 hours before, or a no-show: the class is used. At that point the place has been held and the waitlist has usually moved on.
That’s the standard rule, not an iron one. If something genuinely unavoidable happened — illness, a family emergency, a car that wouldn’t start — tell us and we’ll sort it out. We’d rather be reasonable than rigid.
What happens to a class on a pass
Cancelling in time returns the class to the pass it was drawn from, immediately. Your remaining balance goes back up by one and the pass’s expiry date doesn’t change — the returned class still has to be used before the pass runs out.
Casual bookings
If you booked casually and hadn’t paid yet, cancelling costs nothing. If you’d already paid for that specific class and cancel with enough notice, we’ll credit you a class or refund it, whichever you’d prefer.
Waitlists
If a class was full when you booked, you’re on the waitlist rather than confirmed. A waitlisted place doesn’t use a class from your pass — nothing is deducted unless and until you’re confirmed. You can come off a waitlist at any time, and there’s never a charge for it.
If we cancel a class
Sometimes a class can’t run — a public holiday, an instructor unavailable, a venue closure. We’ll let booked attendees know as soon as we can, using the contact details on the booking. Any class deducted from a pass is returned automatically, and anything paid for casually is refunded or credited, your choice.
Class passes
This policy covers cancelling a class. Passes themselves are non-refundable and non-transferable, and expire at the end of their validity period — see the terms and conditions and the class packs page. If you’re unsure a pass suits your schedule, start with a smaller one or a casual class.
Rescheduling
There’s no separate reschedule step: cancel the class you can’t make, then book the one you can from the timetable. On a pass, that’s the same balance moved to a different day.
