Terms & conditions
The rules for booking a class, using a pass and taking part. Short, and written to be read.

Draft wording. This policy describes how the site actually behaves and follows normal Australian small-business practice, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not rely on it as legal advice.
These terms apply when you book a class with UR Fitness DJ, buy a class pass, or take part in a class. Booking a class means you accept them.
Bookings
- A booking holds one place, for one person, in one class on one date.
- Your place is confirmed when you receive a booking reference. If the class is already full you’ll be placed on the waitlist instead, and confirmed automatically if a place opens up.
- Please arrive about ten minutes before the start time. We can’t guarantee entry once a class has started, both for your safety and so the class isn’t disrupted.
- Booking details are personal to you. Please don’t book under someone else’s name.
Class passes
- Each pass includes a set number of classes and a validity period, both shown on the class packs page before you buy.
- Advertised prices include any applicable booking surcharge.
- Passes are non-transferable — they’re tied to the person who bought them and can’t be shared, gifted or resold.
- Passes are non-refundable, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise (see below).
- Unused classes expire at the end of the validity period and aren’t extended or credited. Buy the pass that matches how often you’ll realistically come.
- A pass works at any of our venues. You don’t need to tell us in advance which one you’ll use.
- A class booked against a pass is deducted when the booking is made, and returned if you cancel with enough notice — see the cancellation policy.
Prices and payment
Prices can change, but a pass you’ve already bought keeps the terms it was sold under — the number of classes, the price paid and the expiry are all fixed at purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don’t handle or store card details.
Taking part safely
- Classes are physical exercise. By taking part you confirm you’re reasonably able to do so, and that you’ll work at a level that’s comfortable for you.
- If you have an injury, a health condition, or you’re pregnant, please check with your doctor before joining and let the instructor know before the class starts. Movements can be modified.
- Stop and rest if you feel unwell, dizzy or in pain. Nobody is keeping score.
- Follow the instructor’s directions and the venue’s rules — including anything the venue requires about footwear, food and drink, or access.
- Please look after your own belongings. We’re not responsible for items lost or damaged at a venue.
Changes and cancellations by us
Occasionally a class has to be cancelled or moved — a public holiday, an instructor unavailable, or a venue closure. We’ll let booked attendees know as soon as we can, and any class deducted from a pass goes back onto it. Where we cancel a class you paid for casually, we’ll refund it or credit you a class, whichever you prefer.
Behaviour
Everyone should feel welcome. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving in a way that makes the class unsafe or unpleasant for others. In that situation any remaining pass balance may be forfeited.
Photos and video
We sometimes photograph or film classes to share on social media. If you’d rather not appear, tell the instructor before the class and we’ll keep you out of frame — no explanation needed. Nothing identifying a person is published where they’ve asked us not to.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded — including that they’ll be provided with due care and skill. Where we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you’re entitled to a remedy under that law regardless of what these terms say.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a booking is the one published when the booking was made, and the “last reviewed” date at the top of this page tracks the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory of Australia.
